My little brother and I want to play through the game and want to do it pretty fast and safe.

Would hdin and cold sorc be fastest way to go?

We were thinking zeal fire din and fire sorc in normal and early NM, then hdin and cold sorc from early nightmare forward.

The hdin is good once he can support hammers with mana for the whole game, and the cold sorc in late nightmare and hell would be to slow enemies, provide tele and static on bosses.

Is there a better combo?

Yes darajuju hdin will have shako

Possibly also a lightning character (sorc, javazon, trapsin) and a conviction paladin?

Summoner plus hdin seems fun and wildly destrutive with amp/decrep and CE but no tele...

hammerdin with shako + hammerdin with shako

Wc barb and sorc

hammerdin + sorc would be safe and easy enough (tele + pure bliss)

We landed on summon nec and hdin

I think it will be fun for both and both feel useful

I mean if you want pure speed I think it’s either blizz sorc hdin or blizz sorc + Lightning Java. You’re gonna lose a lot of time not having teleport with nec + hdin

I don't see how both will feel necro with a summon nec
pally will being doing all damage

I think blizz sorc (telly+ blizz is best dmg skill) and anything tanky that can kill cold immunes

blizz sor + trapsin

amp/ corpse explode necro would kill just as much
