hey guys, i got a question regarding boots for a pvm java (dia/baal):

since i want good damage mainly, i wonder if gores could be my best choice. no fhr (could get enough with sks/scs, though), but i guess cb and the other stats help me for immunes and bosses and even while throwing with eth upg titans.

note: that java doesn’t have to tele or clean baal, so i don’t really need high res (tri res boots) imo. i don’t have mana problems (phoenix) and don’t need str (sands). also don’t need life, since a barb will bo me most of the time.

so gores could be a good option for even better dmg output? or what would you say?

I'd use aldur for 40frw
if you don't need frw or res or life or fhr or mana then it's between gores and wt, and gores may win cuz if you have no ed, even tho OW is irrelevant, ranged cb is only half as effective and ds isn't less impactful cuz you're a zon with 1pt crit
E: maybe consider goblin toes. 25%cb may be more dmg than gores.

aldur or 30 frw/whatever boots

in an 8 player game crushing blow is useless vs bosses because of fast clear speed and it takes 5~ hits to kill on p1 regardless
merc should manage rare immunes better than you can and moving places faster will have overall faster kill speed

Spirit instead of Phoenix and Silkweaves as boots
