yo guys, i'm thinking of making a java and i am pretty unsure about some things. maybe you could gimme some tips!

just some info: the java is only pvm - mainly cs (and baalruns, but no tele, just killing :P). eq = eth upg titans, griffons, eni dusk, phoenix mon, 2/20 + adds rare gloves, highlords, one raven (?), razortail (?), merc = infy

#1: what ring comination would make sense? i guess raven is pretty important, especially in cs (no freeze). with a rare ring in the second slot, i could get 156+ str just with eq + inv or with dex i could save 10-20 dex for titans. but the main point: i would like to get some mana leech / mana after each kill. phoenix is okay, but i guess some mana adds could be useful. on the other hand, i guess skills are pretty important, too. so soj/bk could make sense here. what do you think? rare ring with dex/str + manaleech/maek + life/res or soj/bk, since phoenix is enough?

#2: which boots make sense? i would choose between eth sands (nn str then for phoenix anymore + fhr/frw + life) and gores. gores on the other hand got me more dmg, crushing blow, open wounds, critical strike. idk. what do you think?

#3: i'd say razortail makes sense here? piercing attack, dex.. ? or would thundergod be more useful for str + vit + dmg? lmk!

hm, okay. in my eyes, i would rate sands over ww due to:

- 20 fhr > 0 fhr (!!)
- poison resist (doesnt really matter, though)
- more def (same here)
- same output in stats (str/dex = same here for me)
- little less life, like 20? since 15 vit = 45 life for me instead of 65 on ww

triple res is no option for me since it's too expensive i guess^^ dont want to pay more than roughly 1-2k fg overall for that java

You dont need fhr from shitty trekkies when you dump that Phoenix in to a trash can and use Spirit instead.
With spirit you are starting to think about fcr and mana leech. If you need fcr then find yourself a ring with fcr, ml/mana. If you dont - use SoJ

Use silkweaves for some extra mana goodness.

Pierce is great

Trekkies 15 vita is nonboable so it loses to 65 life by big margin.
Trekkies sucks

If you are seriously talking about ml and maek while utilizing a shitty Phoenix you have got some training to do as javazon. No offence

i came here to learn i always liked phoenix for its physical dmg boost (i know, light > phys on java) and its aura, since i dont need much mana leech or potions then. why you dont like it? and why do you think fcr is so important in cs/baalruns?
