Okay so heres the deal..

I used to play asia2 on a necro on classic and solo up the ladder.. I think the highest I reached was 85? from hell cows..

I specifically remember hell chaos sanctuary being ridiculously hard, and I was on players 1.. I remember having to go back and clear almost the entire act 4 for minions to clear chaos and kill hell diablo

I was 100% summon and Corpse explosion.

That being said, that build is NOT going to work on a players 8 walk through.

I remember my build as, max seles,mastery,CE
I had enough points into AMP for a 1 or 2 cast for a screen
I had plenty of points into bone armor's synergies as well
and I had several points into Fire Golem..

Please remember : There are no viable mercs past act 3 norm
Your summons DO NOT transfer with you during act switches (You have to build your army every game entry or act switch)
This makes it particularly difficult in the end of nightmare and especially hell.

My question for you is.. what build do you think would be able to complete hell diablo on players 8 classic.

I am leaning towards a build right now.. and going to use a specific one that should get me to at least the end of nightmare.

Which summons should I use?

I am feeling I need to use a bone skill or even poison skills crossed my mind.. along with summons

Please also keep in mind, the most + all skills I will probably have at one time is +3, a +2 wand and +1 ammy
So I cannot depend on +skills for my build either

Interested to hear your guys opinions :drool:

I am also concerned to try revives since they dont really do much damage compared to maxed skeles, and things take a very long time to kill so revives would be almost useless during boss fights or long fights, etc

It's not hard if, on the contrary, you focus on +skills from items.
Only the first corpses may be hard get...

+1 helm
+2 wand (possible +5 if you're lucky)
+1 armor
+2 amulet
+2 rings
+1 shield (this part is debatable)

max Raise skeleton, skeleton mastery, skeletal mages, corpse explosion.
1 into useful curses, bone armor. Some more into Amplify.
1 in other skills from summoning tree, except fire golem. Remaining points into Clay golem.

Possible 1+ into Bone spear, unless you switch your wand for a +5, to get the first kills.

Keep in mind your skeletons grow stronger also with your level, so it's much easier at level 90 than at 75.

this just isnt possible... at least for me.. Sojs chances to drop are 1:4000? hell andy with around 150 MF.. I am not doing thousands of runs for sojs
+2 amulets on classic can only be found by Hell Diablo himself, Or gambled at lvl 87+ so a +1 ammy is only to be the only option
starting an army in hell with a clay golem and a lvl 4 bone spear would be brutal.. but could be possible..

Indeed, if you are limited on the skill side, then it becomes harder.
Such char (like every other char afterall) is very dependant on the quality of items used...

At this point I am thinking of maybe using a tarn or silks if I do find it.. thats +4 all
(I wont be doing many, if any MF runs since having to build an army in each act every game it will probably end up being a single path or close to it walkthrough)

My thoughts at this moment for end game is a summon skele/golem CE/bone spear build
Hopefully with +3 or +4 all skills it would save from having to put anything more than 1 skill into curses
And a few points into bone armor's synergies for a nice few hundred damage absorb bone shield

I was considering poison nova? the only thing in act 4 ROF immune to poison is the maw's -_-
I am open to different/uncommon builds its more fun that way
