Just started my first journey with sorc on sp - any specific tips what to farm and where? What's best place to farm for inportant uniques like occu/Viper/lidless/soj? Nm mephisto on p8 doable with moat trick? Also what's better for lvling - fire wall (got bonus from leaf) or fire ball?

Agree'd, doing bugged Andariel runs on NM will net some useful items. I would run Mephisto too. I would definitely run a fire sorc as long as you can. Once in hell, you can do ancient tunnel runs in A2 lost city as a cold sorc. Ancient tunnels is a good spot because of the amount of champ monster packs and it can drop any item plus you are least likely to run into cold immune monsters there. If you are using a mod that allows ladder runewords to be made, Spirit in A1 NM is a must. Most people run a certain mod which replicates everything that happens on ladder. I used v11.02 IIRC which was really easy to set up before I deleted everything to play some early classic patches.
