Hey!
First off, i hope this question doesn't pop up a lot, but i failed to find something usefull.
I played a lot of d2 non ladder back in the days and recently came back to the game. after a season of ladder i decided to get plugy and start a holy grail sorc.
I am currently somewhere in the 3xx item range and have the following problem:
I never really played ladder or sp, so i have very little knowledge about all existing items. as you can imagine, non-ladder d2 was more about high end rws, shako and stuff like that. Ofc i got myself a spreadsheet to keep track of everything i find. But often times i identify the same unique/set item a dozen times because, well i'm not mr laama and cant recognize/remember every item.

Now my question is, if there is something like a tracker that you can run that basically recognizes the base unique/set and notifies you whether the item in question could be something new, or is already in you collection.

searching for a program like that, i found the following:
https://github.com/shappe/D2-Holy-Grail

This however appears to be a php program and i have no single clue how to run something like that or if it is even what i am looking for.

Maybe someone has though about something similar and can share some info with me.
Please don't hate on my english to much, i am not native :)

Thanks you and have a nice day!

I have no idea if this is going to help you, but I give it a try.
When I did mine I had this google docs with both base and unique name, sorted by base name so it was easy to see if I needed to pick the base up or not

thats another very good spreadsheet, but i already got two of those. you always have to check the sheet which imo costs an enormous amount of time if you have to do it quite often. like i said, was hoping for a program that recognizes what drops and tells you if you have to pick it up. maybe thats just to hard to do, but i thought i give it a try as there are so many people around with great skills when it comes to programming and stuff

Yeah it takes a little bit of time, maybe a second each run turning your head to the other screen. But you'll cut down the list so fast you'll be able to remember all the bases you need pretty quickly

well i wouldnt want to do something against this boards rules. but is it a hack if it just checks some optical detail? also this is for plugy sp use only, although i understand that it wouldnt keep people from using it on bnet :/ guess i'll have to keep checking my sheet than^^

It would only be reading data lmao, it’s no worse than plugy showing stats that can’t be seen in game or everything else that comes with ;)
