Like the title says, I am in need of a character with a guide that will be able to solo hell cs in classic. Thanks in advance everyone

Any recent guides though, with what kind of items. Shard is ideal? How expensive would it be to start off as a hdin. Should I mf as a sorc first?

Start off. Online at least.
Start with irathas set and shard on a frozen orb/ firewall sorceress.

Cant quite remember the other items but I remember that part.

Cheap gear and can kill stuff to find what u think could be better.
Irathas is good for plenty of resistances in classic.

pretty much your only easy options are hammerdin, ww barb, or a hybrid sorc... ... also ww barb ruins into physical immunes in river and chaos sanc
tougher options would be a bow amazon,
and necro - necro is super easy solo progression, but the summons dont survive well in end game wouldnt recomend a necro

easiest gear would be shard for casters, irathas set is good for a beginner, along with ward/p diamond shield.. again casters you want dual res fcr rings and a priz ammy
twitch gives max block with most builds, however almost no defence.. and without battle orders, i wouldnt recommend..
a high ED mage plate is only req 55 str.. that would be your best bet.. and some fr/w fhr resist boots

all of this will work with any caster, a barbarian needs crushing blow - either from rattle cage or g toes, and angelics or sigons combo for the AR bonus to be able to hit shit effectively in hell

Thanks cigin, so my options would be a barb or a hdin. I know on xp, hdin pvms pretty well and has quite the survivability. Would the hdin have good survivability? The barb atleast has battle order, but I'm concerned about damage. I guess it narrows down to barb or pally huh. I will take a look at the guides again posted in classic guides but if you have any item build and guide that'd be awesome too.

my profile has 2 walkthroughs for a barb and a hdin, i try to be detailed about the experiences and what not.. i am literally working on clearing hell chaos on my hammerdin as we speak..
i would also say.. until you found a really nice weapon.. barbs survive very well... they just take awhile to clear mobs.. hammerdins clear a lot faster, but are very fragile especially late game it seems.. my experiences are on single player with added challeneges though

I took a read at your walkthrough. That is impressive! How did u allocate ur stats while leveling up?

sorc is great, just a4 hell is not very fun by yourself. but if you plan on mfing bosses only, you are fine with twitch + irathas set + ward + shard, plus if you can find some kind of fcr dual res rings and dual/tri res boots.
since there's no enigma, sorc doesn't waste time getting to bosses

Yeah twitchy, sorc with 1 element like blizzard or something I can do Andy meph pretty easily. But better drops will be from cs and diablo right?
