I’ve been running pits on players 8 with my nec and it takes about 12-15 minutes. It’s pretty safe but it takes awhile would I be better off playing on a different setting and doing more runs? I’m looking for an elite armor and pole arm for my merc for insight and treachery so I can progress through act 1

You could roll a map with a weapon rack close to WP that drops Thresher. Just keep your approach route as similar as possible, even if it’s 2/10 Thresher drops with Harmony/Stealth/FRW Boots it shouldn’t take too long and it’s pretty safe.

Still in act 1, I think ill run pits until I hit 85.

I'm farming for one aswell. What ive noticed, is that the rate white items drop aren't THAT game-changing with mf gear on. Plus you find goodies on the way, then. So I stuck with MF.
But for tips... IDK, Ive searched a long time aswell. Cows should be great for threshers, but perhaps not GPA/GThresher. Mob density.

Otherwise Pits, ancient tunnels, chaos sanctuary any works. I havent really bothered with LK, since it seems so random with monster spawn etc. At the moment got 1 rack dropping colossus voulge, meh. the chest layout is topdog so cannot roll out of that.

LK is the best if u wanna farm a base, but it's boring and if u need other items I wouldn't bother.
