I know if i dual wield with zeal, only main hand hits..but can you use zeal with 2 weapons at all?
basically meaning the offhand is just a stat stick?

Paladins can not wield two weapons.
Or you mean playing with a barbarian, wielding a Passion rw? I see no point in that either.

yes a barb. and more so to play something non cookie cutter. Basically im starting a barb thats..not a barb. meaning no combat skills from the barb combat tree.

like running passion with crescent moon for bosses, rift for clear speed? idk, still figuring it out.

you can only zeal with one weapon.
if your zealing with passion you will not have the chance to cast static from your crescent moon
you will only get the effects of your passion
your better off going frenzy with extremely high ias dual PB to get your double zeal effect

Frenzy > Zeal anyway. Why you ask this question?

Sometimes, people make things for fun instead of minmaxing the game? Look at this forum.

You could offhand a HOJ/dream/doom or something, though I'm trying to imagine a reason that being better than a pally with zeal/holy aura. But it would be doable, and get you some much needed ele damage if you're using only the physical damage from a passion as your dps.

You could mainhand something stronk (grief) and zeal using your offhand passion, potentially?

I had one of these, the only upside is they can double as a wolf/bear barb with minimal changes. Other than that I thought it was kind of miserable to play, Frenzy (with throw swap) or maybe even pure berserk might be more enjoyable.

you could use passion offhand and zeal MH with something like death axe, merc with faith for fanat. of course it wouldnt be as good as frenzy but there u go:)

could also make passion polearm for more dmg and forget the dual wield

Passion in second hand and Grief or Death in main hand gives a very good pvm char.
I would however skill the relevant weapon mastery.
