Hello all, been a while since ive really posted on here. Mostly been lurking lol. Im tired of bnet already, so im going back to SP!

I made a MA asn on softcore a while back and made it to hell a2 then quit. So im not completely new to MA asn. Although this will be my first on HC, so hopefully it will go well!

Rules:
1) MA only doe the most part, will use the shadow warrior and such to help out, will probably use some traps in hell to take down PI monsters but we will see.

2) I dont have plugy, so im using GoMule to xfer stuff to a stash.

3) I will hopefully be using ladder RW's. Im not sure if i did it correctly tho so we will wait and see. If not its whatever I just sont use ladder rw.

4) have fun? Make it to hell Baal and become Guardian. Oh and p8 for norm/nm aside from countess reruns. Hell will possibly be a different story for player setting. Certainly wont go for p1 though. But might no do p8 all the way through hell.

I just started playing and just saved cain. So I will post some updates by later tonight! Woot cant wait.

Nice, looking forward to see this!

Btw, I checked if my ladder runewords worked by downloading a character pack with runes. Would’ve sucked to find out during the wt itself :)

Thanks! Im looking forward to nm/hell. Norm is mostly just a cakewalk, aside from Lister & Co. on p8.

Thanks for that tip as well about the rune pack. Im def gonna do that and see if the ladder rw's work. If not then oh well.

Sounds fun, what charge-up/finisher skills you going for? I made one a while back using Tiger Strike/Dragon Claw. The damage on-screen looked impressive but in practice it wasn't really :P

Good luck, in any caes. You should totally go full Nat set though - style points :P

Thats a great question! As of right now through norm, I'm gonna use a combo of FoF, and BoI for any immunes, for my finisher I'm thinking of either dragon claw (i plan on only going dual wield) or of course Dragon flight.

What are your thoughts on Phoenix Strike? Would that be more useful for nm/hell for the immunes? If i go with PS then thats more pts i would have to put into synergies i do believe, to get the most dmg on p8.

Also, which master should i go for do you guys think?

Just for you, I shall farm full nats and get them style points!

phoenix strike is awful in synergy era, though MA sins are in general :(

for ele route, prob makes most sense to skill PS + 2 synergies so you have 2 elementals, a point in dtalon & dflight, then max master & fade accordingly.
remember, warrior mimics your spells while master does whatever. so master could throw down some death sentries from time to time which will help (but also does mind blast which may be annoying)

GL! will follow :)

I’ve actually never done a Phoenix Strike build, so can’t talk from experience. The phys one I did was, as I say, a lot of fun, but pretty darn slow in late hell.

Also yeah, as twitchy says, Shadow Warrior uses whatever abilities you have active at the time of casting it, whereas Master does whatever it wants. Latter can be quite handy, other times annoying :P

Aha, Nat’s maybe not the best choice, but that constant “faded” effect, not to mention 30%DR and 14% life and mana leech... it has a few perks :D
