Plugy isn't needed.

But Plugy gives you bigger stash/ability to see all your stats including mf/gf etc.


To do a hc p8 walk the requirements are:

-Hardcore
-Type /players 8
-Play

You get more loot if you use plugy.

Wrong.

But you can stash more loot. Drops do not increase.

Every time you restart diablo II and enter a game in the first game you must type /players 8 and it will change the in-game setting of how many players are in the game regardless of the fact that it is just you. Extra loot, exp, and difficulty are all yours. Subsequent games (on single player, without exiting d2) will retain your player setting.
Have fun, loot big, and die young are the only other rules.
