Anyone know if there a file (or maybe -txt -direct shortcuts?) that prevents me from joining Bnet after i have installed everything that i need for Ladder runewords on single player? Rather not uninstall all files cause i have a few good runewords already and dont wanna lose'em on single player

I can join bnet, no prblems 4 me there. btw, I think if u delete ladder text file it wont delete rws, cuz they r already created and rolled, so the game cant uncreate them by rolling only the rune mods on them. I could use rws i got from open bnet on sp w/o the file. U better just try again until it works. Game crashed the first time i tried as well

which mod is it? i thought the ladder-runeword mod was only 1 file?

ye its 1 Rune.txt document, aswell as some shortcuts in D2 properties, like -w -direct -txt

It should work tbh. It workes here. Just try again... I think the mistake I did the first time was to save it as 'Runes.txt' instead of just 'Runes' cuz it will automatically save as a .txt file... Maybe this wasn't the mistake tho and u copied it wrong or something...

Ye me to, but the ladder runeword works on singleplayer, thats not the issue. When i try to join Bnet it says "checking version..." and just stay in that loadscreen forever. Well i'll do so trial/error searching =) Ty anyways

Edit: It connects to Bnet when i move the Data folder (which contains the Rune text file, and some other stuff) onto my desktop. And when i move the folder back in, it cant connect to Bnet

Hmmmmm.... Checking VErsion is basically happening to me sometimes as well, but usually it is cuz of the INterweb lol
