P8 Hardcore Single Player

So i have been running NM meph with like 150-180 % MF and havent found anything useful for my char. It seems like when i was on my barb running 75-100 % Mf i was finding SOE and alot of unique rings.

So my question would be, running NM meph. Is there a minimum or maximum % that people normally run with to find Stuff like Viper,magefist, SoE, Unique Rings.
My 150-180 % is still suffecient enough to kill meph in about 10-15 seconds and ive run about 50-75 runs (obviously not enough to call it alot)

Edit: I have been finding alot of uniques with my 150-180 % but there was like 10 straight games i didnt even have a unique drop

btw what are ur specific Needs?

So im assuming its going to be
Magefists / Trangs
String of ears
Fire Res Boots (aldurs or infernostride is fine)
Rings could be raven/soj/bk
ViperMagi Armor
(helmet better than Lore)


Note: I have actually progressed all the way thru NM and entered Hell. But im afraid of losing my meph/baal maps to see what i can achieve in Hell.

imo just stick to Mephisto to get ur Needs probably the best decision
incase u allowed urself to go Player 3 for reruns u can do that maybe

Meph will eventually drop. It's all about luck. Sometimes u wake up, make a nm mf meph run before going to work and find an occy or 35res vmagi. Keep doing. I do meph sometimes 1000+ times before i am going to enter hell, just... because... yeah. maybe becasue im a fucking retard that cant survive in hell w/o the best gear possible

Unfortunately a lot of it just seems to be RNG. I've been running him all week with ~200MF, looking for Titan's mostly, have had a lot of stuff drop that is wayyyy rarer than what I'm after.

Anywho, sounds like you're in the sweet spot with your MF/kill speed ratio, it's definitely worth running him some more to get yourself geared up for Hell.

Yea 50 isnt no where near enough just wondered if there was a prefer'd MF Spot for NM (i've noticed around 250 in hell as been great for me online)


Thanks i can kill anythiing pretty easily as long as i dont hit an AMP/ Might or Fanat group then i have to back up and take it slow.

Just made a Ancients pledge with a total of like 91 res, lol. And made a 4 socket shield with like 30+ base Res. 3k+ damage 75+ res.

Do some research about item you want to find.
Google Silospen calculator and check it out.
I realized that on /p8, Meph has only like 1:50 bigger chances of dropping Titans, than he does on /p2 or /p3.
So I'm playing on /p3 to find Titans since killspeed on lower difficulty allows me to do way more runs in given amount of time.

RNG mate. Some are lucky with farming and others are not. 150-250 MF is more than enough.
