So I was just pleasantly surprised with finding a griffons on my SP sorceress early in my walk through. I found it when mfing ancient tunnels.

I'm torn as to if I should switch to light this early, without infinity. Will the -15% light res from griffons be enough for light immunes in the later acts? Currently in A3

I'm currently spec'd as a blizz sorc with only one reset left. My other gear is not as good. Spirit, lidless, vmagi, mages. Rest is mf/fcr. I should also note that this is softcore. Very low roll griffs -15% res +11% dmg

Nah. Light is viable only with infi. Just spam for bers and w8 for infi imo.

This. If you go lightning u will do 0 dmg and -res from griffons does nothing vs immunes without infy.

I actually had the same scenario in my sorc walk. Found a early griffons as cold sorc after completing my Enigma, I went back to LK and finished my infinity.
