Hi.

I am looking for ways to do ubers with frenzy/ww barb because I have used enough smites and I want to try something else. I have guillamue, 2x raven, cats eye, botd ba, grief pb,, forty dusk, barb t, draculs, verdungo, gores.

I can get organs just fine. My problem is uber trist. I have about 50% chance to hit which is not enough to keep me alive. I dont have problems with life trap because I use lif trap wand, but since I miss about half of my hits its not enough to keep me alive because it can end me up with 3-5 seconds with no hit at all sometimes.

What would be your strategies to beat ubers with barb? I found barb guide here but I didnt find any uber specific hints there.

Edit: Even with 57k AR (cheat char @ SP) its only 88% chance to to hit them. But with legit chars on b.net I would stay around 8k AR.

Change cats eye and a Raven to angelic.

how can I change both to angelic? One is ring, other is amu.

Angels go both ways...

1) Don't trust char screen when wondering how are your chance-to-hit.
For example -25% defense (-12.5% against Ubers) is not taken into account.

2) Don't expect to hit 100% with everything else than smite.
Smite is not blockable, and Ubers have 40~60% chance to block.

3) Use Battle cry.
A single point invested should give you ~ 60% defense removed.
This is less helpful against Uber-Baal, who uses chilling armor. Kill him last.

4) Change belt to String of ear. Change BotD for another Grief. Change amulet for Highlord's wrath.

5) Stack some resistance via charms, so you can survive some times without Life tap.

Another (completely different) strategy is to use Rising sun amulet, and let minions of Uber Diablo heal you continuously...

You shouldn't use The Rising Sun, that's bad advice. Build a Frenzy Barb properly and UT is very easy.

For what? Verdungo also had DR%. LL wont profit me as I have life trap wand. Or you mean that I should use it to compensate for LL that I loose by switching botd to grief?

Just a quick correction: You should DEFINITELY use rising sun ammy - it basically negates the need for almost any other gear. It's not the optimal fastest clearing option - but if you have a rising sun and around 40fr - you are completely immortal in uber tris as the fire sorb heals you faster than you take any other damage.

So with an absolute poverty-style build, just stack fire to around 40, have around 2000 life after BO, rising sun, absolutely anything with a bit of crushing blow and open wounds/poison on it = ubers dead. (This applies to literally any character as well - you can melee them to death extremely slowly with a sorc if you use rising sun)
