Hey guys!

Since this would be my first Walkthrough, I have to ask you this question, if I should uplode these Posts, or if you think it will be boring. I have rather different rules, but I hope that is ok.

Rules:
/p8 in normal (Nightmare and hell after my choice, because I only know what it is like /p8 with great gear.)
No Plugy
No Ladder Runewords (No Insight, Infinity, etc.)
Softcore (I have made it to Guardian with every class at least once, but I dont want the risk of dying here, since I want to make it a Holy Grail or something later)
Restat Tokens allowed, as long as self made

Goals:
Reach lvl 90
Die maximum 5 times
Make a cta in a great base
Run Ubers


I would do a Avenger Paladin. At first Zeal, Holy fire, restat around lvl 30-40 into conviction and Revenge. Am really interested to hear your opinions, because I rarely play a pally, so it could be fun!

I did a p1 necro on softcore before I started reading these threads.
Now I have a hardcore level 77 barb that I did all on p8. U take way more pride in the p8 walks than u do others. But also alot more risk on hardcore.

Its ur walkthru as long as u follow ur own rules its always gonna be fun for people to read the walk thru.

You always get bored in softcore imo.

Ok, I c. I will try as high difficulty as possible, but still softcore. I'm not that much of a fan of Hardcore.

I wasnt a fan of hardcore either. Ive played softcore online for about 15 years. But hardcore makes the walkthru more intense and happy to get what u get when u get it.

U should try it out atleast once, even if its after ur done with this walkthru ur talking about.

I will, I will possibly do a WT out of it as well, but u guys shouldn't expect me to get to Baal lol

Tons of people die at different stages of the game. Just take ur time and grind for what u need when u need it. Alot of people rerun nm Andy and meph for like thousands of runs to get gear for hell.
That's the stage where im at but im only on like run # 15 of meph, so I have a long ways to go, Lol.

Why no /p8 all the time since it’s softcore anyway? What’s the worst that can happen...you can lose some exp if you die for the price of better exp overall and better item drops ^^

since it sounds like eventually you want to play hc? play p8 even when you find it getting tougher. it'll get you more ready for hc.
in sc, you die and big whoop you lose some gold, exp and maybe some pots.
