What weapon is better for act 2 mercenary who is under lvl 24 so he can hurt act bosses in solo /players 8 game ?

Malice runeword or a 3 soked normal polearm with 3 perfect Emeralds?

There's a recipe to make ''Savage'' magical ones, with like 70ed ish.

Malice until you can make him Strength (or Insight if you are using Ladder runewords). Or any random ctc amp dmg magical polearm from act 2 if you yourself are a physical damage based character.

Cube a savage wep until you find Amn for strenght or insight i guess

Diamond (any quality) + 1 Staff (any type and quality) + 1 Kris (any quality) + 1 Belt (any type and quality) = Savage Polearm Class Weapon
ivl = 50. The polearm will always have the Savage prefix (66-80% Enhanced Damage) and has a chance at getting a suffix as well. The polearm will be one of the following, selected randomly: Bardiche, Battle Scythe, Bill, Halberd, Lochaber Axe, Partizan, Poleaxe, Scythe, Voulge, War Scythe (put another way, any normal polearm or any exceptional polearm other than Bec-de-Corbin and Grim Scythe).

So after the trasnmute that savage polearm will spawn Magic or Rare?

Can it get sokeds ?

Magic. i Have not had one roll socketed but you can use hole punch quest, I mean this is really cheap and effective way to get beefed merc that can carry you to NM. you can shop almost all these items in Act 2 so rerolling is not time consuming besides the gem

i just use a3-cold, he freezes a bit ... better than crab damage

The idea of why i need it is to help me against Duriel, Mephisto and Diablo Normal , after that i basically do not need it anymore !
I know Strenght runeword is best against act bossess but finding Amn is a pure luck !

then savage pole arm is the best option. Your not gonna find Amn before durry . Even if you do in normal finding stronger base for your strength runeword is a challenge. I would use savage for progress and Strength on bosses for the CB
