I don't have room to keep both and I have found a 12% LL Eth Crown of Thieves(456 defense) do I use it over my current 7% ll 16%dr non-eth gaze? Wondering if the 5% Life Leach will give him better sustainability than the 16% dr.

I'd vote keep gaze. Never tried calculating it though

What are you running? Bosses mobs? Could factor in because some bosses you cant leech.

Also there is like a 1/3 drain effectiveness on many some hell monsters so if you have 9%ll, you’ll only be doing 3%ll vs if you have 3% you’ll do 1%

Mainly running pits while I'm not progressing, currently in Act 2 Hell.

I’d use gaze for dr but that’s just me. I think in the long run it would be more benefiticial over cot.
