Hey guys,

I have an orb sorc and I need some advice. She is level 86 and I have some decent gear (for self play only). I was thinking of removing 4 points from warmth and maybe a few points from energy shield and then putting them in to Shiver Armour and Telekinesis. I don't need to worry about immunes because I play with my friend (Javazon)

I have just changed to an energy shield build and my skills at the moment are:

COLD:

20 Ice Bolt
20 Frozen Orb
20 Cold Mastery
4 points in connecting skills

Lightning

20 Energy Shield
1 Static Field
5 points in connecting skills

Fire

5 Warmth

switch to blizzard if pure ice tree. Energy shield is trash in PvM. Also, who does ES without telekinesis..? More than 17 points with +skills is useless (or so I’ve read many times) since the cold res can’t be less than -100.

Also, not sure what you’re wanting advice for since it’s kind of a vague post. But if you’re orb, go hybrid. And don’t max ice bolt. It’s a terrible synergy. Just max orb and the rest in second element.

Your energy shield will blow unless you max telekinesis.

Rest into Ice Bolt

Also, wouldn’t you want the -res over the synergy of orb, or is the 2% damage better (I don’t know the synergy % damage)

Would think sinking points into CM much more worthwhile. 2% damage increase per point into Ice Bolt.

and then with max telek, it'll still blow. since 1 mana burn mob = rip

don't recommend going full orb, but if you're determined, you just max orb, CM, ice bolt, rest in w/e.. tele, static, warmth, (enchant?) depending on what you want.
otherwise go typical blizz sorc as you'll do a ton more damage.

or dual element sorc:
20 orb
17 cold mastery (w/ +skills included)
ONLY ONE IN ICE BOLT
rest in your 2nd element/synergies/mastery

It’s applicable for any mob that has more than 0 CR.
