Plan:
Start by Maxing Blade Sentinel, and figure it out as i go along.

Good luck. If you go Blade Fury, you'll definitely need some other skill to help. I used fury only with 1 point in DS for CE, and i about threw my fucking computer out the door 5 times a day.

Nice - I know bugger all about Blade Sentinel, but if Pika's word is anything to go by sounds like you're in for a grind; good luck!

so far so good. super easy on 8players, i thought it would be much worse.

but i think i F'ed a couple points up claw mastery doesn't seem to add dmg to Blade Sentinel

this is what i know for fury:
claw mastery does increase blades damage. i'd assume it was the same for sentinel as well. AR from blades doesn't help.
using a 2h weapon, your blades are nerfed by 3/8 damage, this is not shown in the LCS from blade fury. however, sentinel is already nerfed by 3/8, so I guess that's normal xD it would suck it were to be nerfed again 3/8 damage.

i'm going to avoid using a 2 handed wep. I'm liking my 3 chip diamond shield for res, and since only 3/8 dmg is actually transferred to sentinel the wep's base dmg makes little difference now.

at lvl14 sentinel now does 51-55dmg + 3/8 my wep dmg.

and it kinda kicks ass

Does str/dex increase damage at all?

yes.
pretty sure i saw max dmg go up 1 when i put some points in str

a few quick upgrades coming into act 2
