When do 5os Polearms start to drop or anything worth cubing to get 5os? I'm in NM and want to do an Obedience for Merc since he's carrying a shitty Insight right now. Should I aim for NM Cows fast or stay where I'm at (A5 nm, but farming meph for upgrades)? Could make a Treachery for him too but no good armors have dropped for now. One more thing: nn to use Larzuk on that, still could use a cube. The only exceptional I found atm was an Ogre Axe 1os...I was as far as doing Nihlathak atm.

You can cube 5os bases from ilvl 40+

Nm doesn’t drop bases higher than 4os, irrc (not 100% sure on that but pretty positive I heard that. In order for a 5os base to drop needs to be in hell but you can cube one in nm. Similar to 4os bases with norm. Can’t drop but can cube)

Ogre axe is elite (figured you meant this but just letting you know)

Ogre axe has a max of 3os

Thank you for the answer. Yeah did a mistake with the Ogre Axe, thought it's exceptional but I remembered it couldn't get 5os, thanks for pointing that out as well. I think I'll just try to farm uogrades for myself and go into Hell for merc stuff.
