Trying again to beat the game (hell baal p8 hc)

I've learned a lot from my last deaths (hopefully).

My plan is to start as a Bone/Corpse Explosion. Maxing Bone Spear, Wall, Prison, and Corpse Explosion.

P8 everything except P1 for countess reruns.
HC
No DClone until after Hell Baal

Kinda wishing I started as summoner again, am going bone necro and skilling such that I wont need to reset until I switch to Poison or Summoner.


First rare off of blood raven.


First Set Item.

Reran countess a ton. It's going to be a big slog until lvl 17, because no real damage skill yet.


Finally hit on the way to andy. This is going to take a while.


20 minutes of running away and refreshing the -80% poison damage (her resist on normal is that high apparently).

Why would you go TalTalTal for Andariel.

Here is the main reason I wanted to get to act 2 before level 18. Bone spear wands are red, and White or Socketed Bone Wands are available.

I ran to lost city to farm gold for hours to get enough, then started hitting up dragoon for another longgg time.


Not good enough


Only eventful drop other than about 100 breastplates I picked up on my runs through the ruins of lost city.

Probably was stupid, but I finally found this. I ended up shopping until I had a second, it was a plain white +3 Bonespear wand in case I got unlocky and only 1 socket through cubing. (notice the gold, I did so many runs).


Dinged 18 so I started to progress. I had already found all the necessary stuff so it went pretty quickly. Vendored mf boots and gloves. I really am enjoying maggot lair a lot more with bone spears instead of summons.


Many trips to town for mana pots later, I am enjoying the rogue companion with a 3ral bow.

So many scrolls.


Per my last walkthroughs, I immediately vendored a teleport staff from ondal.

Meph was pretty easy, though this took forever. Not looking forward to Izzy.


Many trips to town later....

It's nice he can't do anything, but wow this took a long time.
