Hey guys, I researched the topic a bit but I don't have a clear picture of which way would be best. I'm listing some options and questions here, would be cool to know what's best!

I'm using Grief + Zaka as main switch.

1. Elemental switch to Elemental weapon / Elemental shield. I currently have Azurewrath (listed as A tier in some long immunities guide, has decent elemental damage, also has Sanctuary aura) + Tiamat's (decent ele damage, rare for a shield).

Seems to work fine, but since I switch my Grief out, I start missing hits a lot.

Questions:

Should I use Vengeance or Zeal on elemental switch? My Zeal is maxed, Vengeance is lvl 8 (lvl 1 with bonuses). Zeal has very high AR bonus for hitting more accurately.

Should I use Fanaticism for DPS or Conviction for better accuracy? Fanaticism is maxed, Conviction is lvl 8 (1 with bonuses).

Should my merc go with Reaper's Toll or Pride if I use this option? I'm using Might merc so Pride would boost the damage even further, while Reaper's Decrepify is not needed for ele switch.

2. CtC Decrepify / Amplify Damage on merc / switch

Weapons like Lawbringer, Reapers' Toll, Lacerator (?).

AD is supposed to break any immunity (?). With Decrepify I encountered a unique monster that I wasn't able to break Physical Immunity of so it's not a panacea.

My merc currently wears Reaper's Toll with CtC Decrepify.

Questions:

Is it better to have my merc CtC this or myself and have merc wear Pride?

3. Sanctuary aura on switch

Only works for Undead.

3. Sanctuary works at full efficiency with only 1 point invested.
Do this, and problem solved for all undead at a minor cost (don't dedicate a switch slot for it, it's a waste).

2. Decrepify : is the usual weapon your mercenary should wear, no matter if you meet physical immuned or not. Don't change it !
This is a given.
It allows you to remove immunity of monsters with 100% to 109% physical resistance.
Unfortunately, it only inflicts -10% physical resistance in this case, leaving a final amount of 90% to 99% - which is still very annoying.
If the target is undead, use Sanctuary, as above (even if the immunity is actually broken).

1. Elemental damage are very weak if you don't focus a lot on it (example : Holy shock zealot, with Grief/double Dream/Fanatism).
You can stack minor elemental damage to get the kill, but it may takes some time (poison charms, firestorm from Torch, Tiamat's, Famine, Nord's tenderizer, Demon limb, Barana's, other ctc like Oath, Voice of reason, Stormlash...)

A way to get a benefit of your regular setup is tu use Berserk.
Deadly strike, %ed of Fortitude, %ed of Might, Fanatism... all work with it.
This could be the answer when facing a non-undead physical immuned.

What's the best way to cast Berserk? On which items is it present?

Remember that Decrep only has -50% physical resist, and only breaks up to 104%. While Amp has -100% and can break up to 109%.

With my Zealots I run or tele past PI's, it's just not worth the time killing them.

Decrepify inflicts -50% physical res to non-immuned, and -10% to immuned. It breaks up to 109%.
Amplify inflicts -100% physical res to non-immuned, and -20% to immuned. It breaks up to 119%.

Still, it won't work for phys immune stone skin mobs which I need a solution for. Not undead either.
