Rules:
Single Player.
Hardcore.
P8 (countess can be P1.)
No unique items.
No runewords.
Jewels/Runes/Gems allowed (but not if they spell a runeword ;) )
Blue items allowed.
Rare items allowed.
Plain items allowed.
Crafts allowed.
Must stay as Shapechanger but can change to bear or wolf. Only 3 restats available.

All points in strength except dex that is needed to equip weapons.

No Plugy or hacks at all.

Char name: Timarchus.

In my last WT, I did a titan wolf. Found many decent rares and some were very good. It was disappointing to toss them in favor of the usual great runewords available...like lawbringer or crescent moon--super strong items that are cheap. So in the spirit of making a more difficult challenge, NURWs--no uniques or runewords. But I love id'ing blue items and using them. This char will be a scrapper. In fact, his first job, at age 6, was collecting the garbage after a big event in Bloodmoor...after a duel. He basically lived off the half eaten cotton candy and bits of popcorn left by bystanders.

His first full moon:

A druid with natural strength of 15...pre-Titan? One can only hope he lives up to the title of Titan.

And the morning after:

I like this image for a shapechanger coming out of form during the first rays of sunlight. (it's a Maxfield Parish painting ...Cadmus dealing with a dragon or something.)

It's a common story in Bloodmoor. Boy eats someone else's half eaten carnival food. Boy gets sick. Then he turns into a werewolf at next full moon. Some live to see the next day and some die a horrible death.

First rare:

Now that is grainy. Hope that doesn't happen too much.

These kinds of charms are good in this build.

Found this a little earlier:

Decent bow for merc:

Forgot to use the eth large axe! She wasn't too hard but that axe would have really hurt her.

Best thing Andy dropped was that topaz. That's it. A no unique/no rune word build begins.

SAVAGE

Polearm? Yeah, he's savage and a bit of salvage. Checking barrels and kicking pottery as well as evil urns...love evil urns.

Hard to get excited over that armor. Been using 2oc armor with chipped topaz on merc and wolf.

I expect lots of pain when stumbling over these greens and uniques. I didn't say no set items but I meant no set items. It's a rare/blue/craft walk.

Wearing that!

Using this fine weapon on switch when needed...

Rolled a bunch of these:

The bill is a bit heavy for merc. Act 2 vendors sell the kris' and cheap staffs and cheap belts. Bill is good roll.

Some day this will be useful.
