As the thread title states, welcome to my first walkthrough!

I have been reading so many awesome walkthrough’s lately, so I decided to do my own.

First and foremost, this is not a HC walkthrough. Suffice it to say, I am too much of a wuss to go p8 HC for my first official walkthrough. I would be crushed if my character died shortly after finding some fantastic gear or a Ber rune or something.

This will undoubtedly brand me a pansy, but meh. I’m hoping to work up to being able to do a p8 HC walkthrough at some point in the future. So with that in mind, if a p8 SC walkthrough is not your thing, sorry, I can’t please everyone. Hopefully someone will enjoy the journey!

I am planning on having Nitro deliver death via Frozen Orb and Fire Ball to start with the hope/possibility of switching to pure Lightning if I can find the runes to make an ‘Infinity’ for merc.

I have the following rules + goals mapped out for myself:

Rules:
1. /players 8 at all times, except Countess re-runs
2. Ladder Runewords allowed
3. Using plugy

Goals:
1. Die a lot (yeah, actually let’s not...)
2. Find complete Tal Rasha’s set (I have always loved Tals)
3. Make an Eth Elite ‘Infinity’ for merc
4. Have fun along the way and MF some useful gear


I didn’t decide until Act 2 in Nightmare to start posting my walkthrough (yes, I am new to this...). So I cruised through all of normal and Act 1 of Nightmare wasn’t bad at all (NM Andy drops were awful as per usual). I am just starting Act 2. I stat-ed my sorc the following way to get through normal and Act 1 of Nightmare:

Level 1-30: Fire Bolt/Fire Ball (used ‘Stealth’ and ‘Leaf’)
Level 30-current: Frozen Orb

My gloves, boots, rings and ammy are nothing impressive - all have some amount of MF on them

Duriel time. 10 years ago when I first started playing D2 and I played SP, this guy used to scare the shit out of me every time I went into his little cave. 😣


He killed merc fairly fast, so we played follow the leader until he met his doom
