I don't know if they deal full cold, or half cold/half physical, or if it's just physical with a chill on touch, but does HotW aura raise their damage too?

No, in D2R it doesn't. Spirit Wolves do purely cold damage in D2R.

e/ that was speaking about the damage bonus only, I'm sure the AR% bonus still works, although it's not really needed.
