This is maybe my second ever assassin playthrough so I'm learning as I go! Blade Fury and Sentinel will be our main skills. Weird mechanics, as far as I know they aren't affected by IAS or FCR, some base damage off the skill but 75% comes from your left hand weapon, without depleting its durability!

Here's the general plan:
  • Hardcore
  • All self-found gear
  • /p8 for progression, can change for reruns
  • Will probably stick to claws but it's not a rule
  • Beat Hell Baal
  • Find GG Fury/Sentinel weapons (suggestions welcome)
  • Make Enigma, or find Nat Set?

Blade Sentinel unlocked at level 6. It goes back and forth between where you click, no leech but life/mana after kill seems to work, as does "on hit" effects!

First unique in Tristram! Think they rare AF too

Arctic armour soon after

Andy down, unlocked Blade Fury and it really shreds! Thankfully life and mana leech do work with it!

Bloodfist! My 11MF really coming in to play!

Forge drops  This build is shredding norm, so fast I forgot to take screenshots!

Hit up a gem shrine to craft these, think the CB will work on both our main skills. Can't use them for a while :D

Highest rune so far! Hoping to find some 3os claws to try this new early runeword

Baal down! The helm/gloves were useful! Claw unfortunately not

Stats and gear at the end of normal. The main hand cestus was the Anya reward, and the skiller claw I shopped from her! Jewelry is pretty crappy with some LL

Decided I'm tired of running an A2 merc all the time, going to try the improved A5 guys! Currently using the two-handed one as he can use Stun and War Cry, which lowers enemy defense, useful because I hear AR is going to be an issue! He is currently using an eth "Steel" greatsword.

Plan skill-wise is to max the two main ones, then maybe Claw Mastery or Venom, the latter works really well!

Might get a few more levels in norm before hitting nightmare! Stay tuned :D

Nice! I wonder if Gavel of Pain or or even Cranium Basher would be good later on?

I ran Baal until 48, found these, could be useful!

Nice helm for prebuffing!

Merc finally has some life leech... ish
