Hello,

after my sorc has died, I am trying to reach the holy grail once again - this time with a druid, a class that I have not played much in all the years of Diablo 2.

I will start as a fire elemental, but want to stay flexible regarding my build - I will probably go melee/summon or nado at some point. It will most likely depend on the items that I find.


My rules and goals are:
- Hardcore SSF
- beat Hell mode
- always /players 8 (including reruns, countess and ubers)
- find a nice druid helm

My endgame goals are:
- reach lvl 99
- beat ubers on p8
- find a Cham rune to build metamorphosis
- finish holy grail (at least I will track all items that I find along the way).

Raven dead.



As I am named Wendigo, I hired a rogue called Wendy :wub: I visited Crypt and Mausoleum afterwards and threw some molten boulders.



First nice charm, that I will problably keep for quite a while.

I tried to gamble for frw boots but got these instead - will use.



I reran countess for stealth and leaf runes and found this unique along the way - despite having played this game so much, I don't really recognize this one :ph34r:



Eventually got the runes for leaf.

And finally Andy. Going through the catacombs was super easy with fissure. Due to her fire vulnerability, she died easily, too.

I was lucky and got gull dagger on the first kill :thumbsup: Maybe a good omen for this run? :baby:

Duriel was easy - merc was solid as a tank.

Very nice ring! Will use it. As far as I remember, I got that one from the Gidbinn quest. Will use the boots as well.
