I have been casually playing with an old SCNL sorceress on bnet lately and figured I would start a walkthrough instead. I'm no speedrunner by any means as I have always mostly played pvp, but I grew old and being able to instantly pause any game I play is the number one priority currently.

My first character was a necromancer back in 2001. I plan to start with bone spec due to its early game power until I get bored with it or it falls behind in powerlevel. I will eventually respec to a summoner and try to get an anni and a torch as well. If I happen to find a Death's web, I might respec to poison too.

No rules other than not using any third-party tools or cheats. With the additional stash tabs of D2R and not being able to trade with others, I shouldn't be running out of space. I deleted every single player character I had and cleaned the shared stash tabs too to ensure a fresh start. I allow myself to cheese enemies (i.e. iron maiden, bone prison spam, etc.), change /players, rerun and farm specific zones, etc.

I am trying to find more time for some recreational gaming and plan to motivate myself with this walkthrough thread. Feel free to tag along and post tips/tricks/advices or anything you see fit.

Teeth seemed super strong in the early game if I didn't pump up the playercount too much. Went with mostly P1-P4 in Act 1.

I prepared for a couple of Countess runs to gather the Stealth runeword mats, but they dropped in the first two runs.

Act 1 was pretty straightforward, had to iron maiden + clay golem cheese Andariel a bit, but she eventually went down.
Act 2 was growing tougher until I finally reached 18, then bone spear cleared very well, especially in maggot lair and arcane sanctuary, where the mobs were easy to align.

Finding and shopping for some upgrades.

I kept checking Drognan now and then just in case he had a +2 or +3 bone spear wand for sale. Randomly found a great buy, especially because this will make a perfect White base later on if I'm lucky with the cube socket.
Unfortunately I had to sell my whole stash, my charms, my amulet and everything I could afford to lose, but managed to get just enough gold for this huge upgrade. Also wanted to reach level 18 before Maggot lair, so I progressed to Lost city first.

This might have been the first time I actually enjoyed going through Maggot's lair levels in the past 20+ years.
