Whats your guys thought on this build? Watched a streamer running Hell Chaos on p1 destroying everything and looked rather tanky.

Build is definitely legit, hit 99 on hcl last season with it, running p8 tz as often as I could. Blizz is such a powerhouse, you have points to spare.

Iirc I put 20 pts in tk, 1 in es and I think I ended up almost maxing forb as well. Was doing around 9k blizz damage and +1k forb with doom.

Wth? Really? Can you tell me a full breakdown of skill points and gear? Also what about stats? You go max block or no? And last do you think it is actually better then vita/block?

In stash I had tgod + 2 fcr rings with >20 lr and high mana for comfy soul farming. I stacked a lot of lr so I would still sit at 85 against tz96 conviction (+ sorb). Emilio was an absolute tank with insane regen, he died less often when I gave him the cure helm and completely dropped leech.

I also did some testing with deaths fathom. You'll deal more damage against regular mobs, but with doom you basically no longer notice the difference between sundered mobs and regular mobs, I preferred that setup.

Blizz + orb and static is really strong AoE. It's still not as good as nova, but it is quite fast.


Imo the survivability was great, I had no close calls. Es just gives you a ton of eHP, and you'll regen all of it pretty much instantly. Souls felt dangerous at first because it instantly deletes your mana, but tgod does the rest. Caution should be taken for souls in combination with something that deals heavy phys damage, but was never a real issue. Did a ton of wsk tz96 farming without issue - Sometimes I would still skip souls just because it's annoying to constantly be out of mana. As you can see, in a lot of places I opted for damage over survivability. I did quite a bit of testing and just never really felt I needed to be tankier than this.

Should also note that this is a fairly cheap setup compared to other high-end sorcs. Only HRs on this build are Ohm + Lo + Cham for doom, but df also works very well. I preferred insight over infinity on merc, the boost in regen is a great QoL (I also like to never pot).
