Hi all!

I'm looking for a walkthrough or similar - even just a mention - where the mercenary is saved throughout the game. Does anyone know of a character whose mercenary never died from start to guardian/mat/pat?

How can this be? I mean, with all the years the game has been around (excluding classic without merc items

) and everything people have discovered and managed about playing it...

Half rhetorical question, I know...

I got close with a rogue and amazon once, then i forgot to use her teleport staff to cicle the ancients and lost my rogue off screen. That was bitter.
Barbarian brothers-in-arms fared better. They even survived a tomb viper evil urn pack :wacko:
