SO. Here's the deal.

I'm playing Hardcore Single Player. Just about ready to do Ubers on my smiter.
I figured I would start running Nightmare Andy for a SOJ ring on my lvl 76 Sorceress.
I am now level 79. With 230mf. 1300 RUNS IN on /p5

I think I've found 50 unique rings, all manald & nagel.
OH. I've also found FIVE Tal Rasha Ammy's. ( Which are more rare of a drop here than SOJ )

I’ve found 5-6 Deaths Web but 0 Deaths Fathom.

Start looking for something u dont need, and ur need will randomly drop XD

Yeah buddy we feel you, rng is a pain. Only found two sons on my SSF hc campaign this go around, rocked one on my nova sorc before getting anni, except she ripped in arcane with it on.

Found a second one and immediately converted to anni ha

My ssf hc: I found 350 unique rings off nm Andy without finding an soj. 6 different times she dropped me multiple unique rings in the same drop. On the 6th time one of em was an soj. My nm mfer has 852mf.

The next day I found a second soj off hell chaos tz.

That is some very useful data. How many total runs? I've never been able to just grind NM Andy.

I'm curious if just running hell Andy + hell meph would yield more sojs+ other goods. I too have found 1/2 sojs in chaos

I didn’t count the total runs but:


I’d kill nm Andy (always p8) for sessions of 60 minutes

I’d get 1 (fewest) to 12 (most) unique rings per hour.

I killed andy almost twice per minute.

Estimations:
It took more than 50 hours of running her before I got an soj

It took more than 6,000 runs before she dropped it.




Edit:
My homies would play ssf hc at the same time as I was. And they each found 8+ sojs in the same amount of runs (or fewer)

Get more MF and keep at it. I got 5 in about 10 hours of grinding with close to 700 mf.

After 1500 runs EXACTLY. I found my first SOJ. Ubers gonna get smacked up tonight fellas!
