Everyone always talks a out how good it is to find high runes up to ber, I've done about 500 runs and only found 3 guls and a few puls/ums, yes I know that's a low amount of runs for LK and you need at least 2K to have a hope at making an infinity.

But what people don't seem to mention is that this is a charm and jewel gold mine. In the span of those 500 runs I found a 40 life pally combat, 3 trap skillers, a dozen other trash skillers (curses, druid summon ect.) a 3/20/20 sc a 3/20/5 fhr sc, and 2x ruby Jewels of fervor that rolled 15/34. Plus basically an inventory full of a bunch of 7 mf scs, 20 and lifers with res mixed in there.

TL:DR take your new character and run LK if you need charms, you Will have an inventory full of good ones in a few hours. If your mega lucky you might even pop a HR.

Running LK so boring tho… I lose my mind

I’ll usually do LK as I’m mfing my way through the acts, but only rarely grind them out.

Makes sense why I have a lvl 96, 95, and 94 with very little high end RW’s to make up for it (enigma, grief, Fort, 1x cta, hoto)

For sure, I've found that I like to run like 25-30 and then go mf other things or maybe knock out 100 while I listen to a podcast, even then that's probably my max for a session. The guys who can do 2.5K runs in a few days are machines

I'm trying to get into then myself. I'm more of a fan of killing mobs but I think I'm starting to learn how to make LK work for me. Also, I second that it's a charm gold mine.

1) fast, circular map.~30-35s run time. Faster is always better in LK, but I find i don't enjoy so much crazy fast tele and super chests funfettis all up on my eyeballs, so a medium speed run is ideal so I can run for an hour or two at a time (only time I have to play in a day)

2) try to include a rack of some useful elite base, like sacred targe, thresher, or monarchs

3) watch a show, listen to a podcast, I switch between kneeling on one knee, then the other, then both, and shit like this to keep me occupied

4) haven't tried it, but I'm considering a loot filter. Also I hear unpacked game files and direct load can really speed up load times

Great tips for anyone looking to start LK runs. I've heard from some folks that if you have a slower drive, running something like harmony on your swap for vigor, some 40% movespeed boots and hustle runeword chest piece is faster running the a3 docs than loading back and forth between a3 and a4

Also not 50 runs later after making the original post I popped a SUR rune off of a random dead body, not even a super chest.

in the 70 ish runs since making this post saying i haven't found any real HR's I found a Sur from a corpse and a Ber from a super chest.

My luck went from probably slightly below average to way above average REAL FAST. Time for 2K runs in a row with nothing, but in the mean time wowee RNG is a fickle beast.

Efficient still doesn't = fast. You can farm runes for an enigma this way faster than anything else, but faster is relative to monsters having like 1 in 400,000 odds of dropping HRS vs a super chest having 3 in 65,553 odds of a ber dropping. Still very infrequent.

Yes, run vs tele is a big difference. Running is a whole other beast:
If running, I'd worry less about circular map, and be happy with "straight line" map where the 2 fires generally line up in constellation with the waypoint, then just to to a4 after runs. Harmony, hustle, aldurs/sanders boots, cats eye, and pcrown all have nice frw mods. If hardcore, watch out. Hit as many poppables as you want, but not the real slow chests, unless you need to pass them again, they take too long to open.

Tele:
Circular map, WP back to A4, 0-8 poppables depending on your map, play style, and mood.

My current map I could easily bake in 15+poppables, but the run time gets long quickly, and it feels like 12 again running around clicking shit. So, 0-8 poppies works for me, and keeps me moving. We want those 14 sur patterns and 3 ber patterns on p7.

LK is cool for solo farming but not for trade league. Imo 85 area is still better.
