So I am doing an holy grail, i'm on the hunt for the last 3 set pieces i need... cow kings stuff.

So I tele to the cow king with my barb, howl and let the merc kill him ( total 960 mf ) ... I have over 1500 runs done and no cow king items have dropped, so far about 15 leather boots (all sanders) and I curiously picked up a blue war hat to check durability and to my surprise.. its double (failed set item) wtf....



i'm quite pissed off.

d2r doesnt drop cow king set items from the cow king unfortunately
edit: on norm cows /p 7 with 700mf, chances are 1:64k from a cow... with like 300 cows per level or so, thats like 200+ runs just fyi

You should have been suspicios after 100 runs no cowking

Th cowking himself cant drop any cowking items

Armor and hat is easy to get from the other cows, but boots are a nightmare, they are 1 to 300k or sth from normal cows.

I got the helm or armor from cow king in nm d2r. This was a while back when the bug was pretendily solved in the course of 2022. Impossible to get the boots though.
