-res only applies if new damage is done while its present. So I do believe its technically possible to get that if you can quick switch fast enough, but its also just not realistic to do that with every shot.
e/ and by realistic i mean being efficient with it, arrow moves slow enough where you absolutely can do it. You just would be way more effecient not switching at all and getting more arrows in in that time frame
