It's when you take 3x damage from amplify damage.

In the example posted in that topic, yes.

I considered old any game with a double digit age. Seems fair.

Let y be Retrovirus' credibility. Let n be the number of times that he has been exposed for committing some sort of dishonest action. Let us suppose that the rate at which his credibility changes is proportional to n such that it decreases proportionally to n.

dy/dn = − n

Thus, we have that

dy = − ndn

Thus, we have that

∫dy = − ∫ndn

Thus, we have that

y + C1 = − n^2/2 + C2

Thus, we observe that

y = − n^2/2 + C

Note that for C > n^2/2, y > 0.

So, it appears that your credibility is not necessarily gone completely if your initial credibility was great enough, given our very crude presuppositions.

regarding the fact that I was in my puberty when I started playing d2 (around 2002), I consider diablo 2 as old nowadays

in addition it's listed as classic in the blizzard store

I haven't said in any line, that it's ok to cheat in a game, stop twisting my words. But obviously it's straight up childish to be mad about someone cheating in a sologame. Additionally - you hurt a much bigger playerbase when cheating in a new online game, e.g. Autoaiming in a new shooter or whatsoever has a direct impact on other players and is thus a lot more harmful for the community

/whatever, I did not even intend to make such a big deal out of my statement lol

This is nonsense.

The concept of cheating does not abide by or find any more or less relevance when done in a multiplayer game or single player game. The concept remains the same and when associated with a public forum like d2jsp, hurts the community that the individual is a contributor to.

That being said, Retro has been a very positive contributor to this sub-forum and, if it wasn't already clear, Retro has a lot of people that found enjoyment in following his walks and who have, myself included, expressed interest in him remaining here.
