After I found that ring, I had become pretty bored of Stormtree runs. I went straight to Chaos runs now that I had 16% LL rather than 10%. They are doable, but extremely slow and kind of dangerous. I may swap over to Meph runs soon enough, or potentially do Meph + CS in each run. Problem with doing that is they kind of require different setups since I focus on leech in CS runs but leech doesn't work on Hell Meph at all. So doing them both per run is not very efficient.

Infector is PI more often than I'd like to see and it's very annoying when he is. Ancient Axe with 10% ias and low-ish damage makes for slow af PI kills.


Pretty much this is where I'm at right now. Just kind of slowly running CS with 89% MF and hoping for any upgrades. I'd probably find upgrades a lot quicker if I ran Mephisto, so I may do that soon. Would need to re-arrange my gear to maybe angelic's + 3 ptopaz helm/gwrap. So maybe I'll just keep running Chaos until I can make a 3x ptopaz helm and then see how I'm feeling about Meph runs at that point.

I feel that meph runs will be faster. Regarding better drops, I'm not too sure. Either way, CS and Meph are both the spots to hit for loot. Also, enjoying the thread of course!

For quite some time I wanted to do a Classic WT.
Is there anything comparably fun like ww barb?

Best classic chars (that isnt all grind)
Ww barb
Hammerdin
Dual element sorc (normally orb/fireball or firewall)

Ww barb is my favourite in classic so for me nothing is quite as fun. Sorceress and hammerdin can get through with no grinding also. Any other build would definitely need to grind. If playing zon or nec id suggest p8 progression/any p setting for reruns. But the main 3 builds can p8 all the time.

Yes planning to roll a nice meph map today and Attempt some meph runs. Even though I can’t get my dream weapon there, I can get everything else I want, so that could really help speed up chaos runs if I got some upgrades

I actually have 1 started and all the way up to hell act 2. But i have no shots of anything, which is half the fun. He is a mace barb of course. Might have to dig in to him a little more now that I seen this walk going.

I'm getting a little squishy in hell P8 with the gear he has tho.

you'll smoke hell no problem!

What the heck I just started re-rolling maps to try and get a nice Meph one, and I noticed that Travincal quest shows incomplete, even though Meph and Diablo have been completed! Also, posts #62, 63, and 64 show my time in Hell Trav. How can this happen? I see that I only managed to snap screenshots of 2/3 of the Council bosses, so I'm thinking maybe the other one ran really far away, I killed the first 2, got the flail, and forgot about him? Is that something that could glitch the quest like this?

Have you tried angelic armor instead of gskin?
iirc it give a nice mf bonus
