Doing Pindle/Baal runs. No drop results... Really

Pindle dropped me a dusk at some point.
Decided to roll it when I found a Tal rune, and hoped for 3 sockets.
No luck.

Goblin Toes dropped 55 levels too late.


79... No Helm upgrade


Nagel drop. Getting real tired of this.
Might or might not do level 80. I think I will, and if I don't find a helm upgrade, I will just start Hell anyway.


E: OK 80 simply takes too long on Nightmare.
Will continue this adventure on Hell, and hope for a better helm from Andariel.

Hell get ready for Genghis Kahn!

Goals for act 1 Hell
- Craft a pair of 20ias/cb/stat or res/ml vampirebone gloves.
- Find Laying of Hands
- Find Guilla or Arreats
- Find a decent base for a merc Lawbringer
- Find a base for a mercenary treachery
- Find a better treachery base for Genghis
- Farm 1 fal, shitloads of Lem, 3 x pul, 1 um and 1 mal for upgrading and runewords from Countess
- Survive act 1

So my thought is always 'well since Nightmare act 5 wasn't that tough, then act 1 Hell should be just as cake', but the thing is... it's not.
Monsters are ridiculously overpowered in terms of HP (talking about Zombies and all Undeads) and damage output. OMG nasty shit.

Here's Corpsefire. The S/S seems quite civilized, but what happend upfront was definitely not.
Let's just say that it was a hit'n'run kinda thing until every monster around was killed in this manner.
Den of Evil only took 25 minutes this way.


This fella on the other hand was quite easy.


Blood Raven was a pain. All that running and summoning
That Howl skill really came in handy. I must have used this more than actual frenzy attack on Hell by now

Went for the Scroll... This beast was surrounded by 2 x cursed aura enchanted groups of skeleton archers.
Some might call me a pussy but I had to lure him away, any other tactic would have equaled insta-death...
Which I'm not quite ready for just ret.
I can report that my Zerk works absolutely excellent for the record.
And it's not that good being surrounded by 10-15 monsters including archers when you have zero defense and no block... Just sayin'


I went for Tristram and free'd Deckard.
I'm not much of admitting that I had to chicken out and leave Grisworld for later.
Him, his madafaking curse and 3 groups of uniques/minions just didn't do the trick at the moment.
I'm sorry but as close combat character you really gotta chose your battles.
Akara got that reward back instantly... Bitch.


Was missing a flawless amethyst to roll the other HB.

Next up: Countess

Got level 80 on my way to Countess.
Lovely


The way down to Countess was ridiculously hard.
Had to skip most of the monsters because they were physical immune unique packs.
When I finally got there she was not to hard to kill.
Drop sucked btw.

Room was filled with fanatism'd minions, so had to grab it and S/E - so pardon-moi for no ground S/S.
