Going to be some time I've read that only Diablo, Nihlathak, and Baal give you significant XP after level 97 (clearly not entirely true since LiiMule reached level 99 in AT... But I'd like to try and reach 99 as efficiently as possible with this char). I'm too afraid to run Nihl especially when using enigma/teleport. As most know you can't teleport in wereform. Still, Hobbes will have 43% DR, max elemental res and almost/around 2k life in human form. He should be fine but I'm not going to risk teleporting through those completely ridiculous poison snakes. I've got a few options as to how I'll go for 97-99, and I'd love to hear opinions:
-p1 minions/p3 Baal only - This brings me to Baal the fastest. As stated above, Only Dia/Nihl/Baal give significant XP from level 97+. I won't be doing Nihlathak runs.
-p3 all times Baal only. This slightly increases XP and drop rate from minions and randoms killed along the way.
-p7 Diablo p3 Baal, p1 or p3 minions (state). The most XP you can receive from a single kill is 8,388,607. Diablo XP maxes out at p7. Baal XP maxes out at p3.
-Other. Do you know some secret godly leveling method?

I still don't remember how great my team is vs Chaos Sanc and Diablo. I am leaning toward option 3 once I have Enigma if Diablo doesn't own merc too easily. If Diablo kills my merc most games then forget option 3 haha.

I didn't want to use them anymore on my chars

I used Spirit sword, Insight polearm on a2 merc and Fortitude/Lawbringer on a5 merc during the progression of this char though. The Lawbringer was pretty crucial, so who knows if I would have made it without. I like to think I would have made it through with just the Azurewrath, because it was pretty awesome damage vs those Arcance ghosts
