Your character level does not matter too much and you don't have to be a certain level. The only thing your character level is involved in is the "to hit" calculation. The higher your character level, the better chance you have in the formula to hit the monsters upon attack. HOWEVER since you are a bowazon, your dex should be pumped and you should not suffer from AR problems.

Congratulations on your finds. You should not take the 2 runs you made as a definate sample. I would suggest that you count the greens and golds after 20 runs and determine if that is enought for your time. If not, add a little MF. If it is, have fun with it.

The Alvl 85 in the title refers to the Area level of the Pit (which is the intended run for this build), nothing else.

Hell, this build would cruise the whole game to be honest. It's solid as a rock smile.gif Well done Morpheus.

Thanks again Aye, and yes, my strafe cruised through the entire game. She is 1 of 2 of my characters that I refused a hell rush with as I knew i could handle hell easily without any help at all. Even the Physical Immunes were cake with ATMA's Scarab around my neck.

The other character, for those wondering, who was able to solo hell the entire way through was my FO / Hydra sorc. She leveled till 75 in NM baal runs and then, equipped all of TAL's and ventured out into the Moor in hell. She never died while questing in hell and was relatively easy. Even her ancients were nice to her and only one of them was cold/fire immune. The beauy of the other 2 was the only immunity they had that effected her was fire. Quite a few FO's out there and it was just merc VS. ancient.

@ louisxsioul : Please tell me what you honestly feel about the delirium hat that you wear. I have gotten bombarded with numerous questions about whether that hat is needed or not. So please post your opinion on it.

@ Aye : dunno if you have access to a delirium, but if you do and you have made a strafer and played her with a delirium on, please post your opinion.

I just do not want my opinion of Delirium to be the only one in this post.

Its good to see this thread being read.

As far as the "i dont like zons" comment. Thats fine. You dont have to build a zon to do the lvl85 areas. be just like everyone else and build a hdin or a blizz sorc. There is nothing wrong with being a lemming. Just watch out for that cliff.

Well said.

This guide gets 10/10 from me. It was so indepth, i read every word of it and understood it all. It was perfectly laid out, wasn't cookie cutter either and as i said, so indepth!! Well done for it man.

I have an orb sorc, and i find that they work quite well with about 480 damage on them, and i don't even use oculus, i use a rare with 2 sorc skills 2 orb 1 cold mastery and warmth.

I do really really wanna make a Strafer after reading this, i had a HC strafer who did quite well till i get her banned.

Once again, brilliant guide man smile.gif

Hehe - I'm probably a little more tenacious than most. All my characters solo the whole game on Ladder, or die failing (Well clearly the SC ones have another go).

My strafer is a hybrid LF/strafe, and though she used a lot of LF when I quested her, I only actually put the Delirium together after she'd made Matriarch - Doh. 4 Ists just sitting there on my rune mule. Now she really doesn't use LF at all, though when I'm taking her for a spin it's usually just Pit / Shenk / Eldritch, so it's more for fun than anything else. The helm is totally the difference between the occasional close call, and never getting touched at all. It's perfect for a PvM bowie. On top of all the other mods - MF too smile.gif perfect I tell you.

My other solo buddies: Hydra / Orber, Charged Boltress (I just had to when I found a CB Ormus. Bloody useless armour, but it was just one of those things), Elemental Conviction Zealot using Gimmers as end game weapon biggrin.gif , Summon Nec, Bone Spear Nec,

In the works are three Barbs - Singer in A2 Hell trying to work out how to deal with PI's effectively, WW using Ribcracker sitting outside CS trembling, and a Frenzy dude using the BK swords smile.gif It's all about style, and he looks fantastic with those big green swords. Fun as you like too. He's in early Hell too somewhere. Those pesky PI's again. And two Sins also in Hell: Trapper / Kicker Hybrid and a BF sin.

The Bone nec is a damned cool and well solid build. Safe and sound he never looked back ever. Kaa in Hell is a pain, together with Ashmeal or whatever the second wave dude is called. Otherwise just a lot of nimble finger work, and some funny situations with the entire screen filled with Bone Prison.

Hmm, the singer is definatly a problem without a point in bersek. However for the other mele buids, what about ATMA's Scarab? or that stoopid maul with charges or CtC amp on it?

I'm planning either Atma's or ideally dual Kingslayer PB's for some Nice decrep action on switch for the Frenzy Barb. Does anyone keep the damned three socket PB's though? No. Sigh. Not 5 socket, Charsi. Sigh.

4 skill points to get Berserk though for my singer sad.gif That hurts. I'll try to get something decent onto my Merc and see how it goes. There is always that polearm with ctc Decrep.

Lets see what we can do ere. What about an act1 merc with WWS? Ummmmmmmmmm dunno really. Maybe a rare on switch that you can normal attack with that has CtC amp?
