Time for Baal.


Used static until he had low life and finished with my lovely fire dmg
Baal was cake tbh. Nothing compared to the guys of wave 4 and 5.


Besides this Scimitar he only dropped crap. I exchanged my flail for that. Faster attack speed
comes in handy as mentioned before, AR, light dmg and some %ll... going to use that for a while I guess.
And that is how act 5 ends.

Act 5 Normal accomplished

comment: Act 5 felt like a breeze until Baal minions wave 4 and 5. I had no problems at all until then in the whole act.
My dmg is pretty nice right now. Just used Static vs the real tough guys like Shenk, Nihla and Baal. I am really looking forward to
nightmare. Next Update will contain my whole gear, when killing Baal. I am going to visit the Cow level before actually starting NM.

True 300 life is not much... but there is not much I can do about it atm. Max block is absolutely necessary so
I don't have to much points to put into vita plus 1 point into vita only gives 2 life.
I really think manashield could help me out, but no really decided what to do yet.

This was my gear when killing Baal.
I basicly look for upgrades in every slot but the shoes
Can't wait to get a rhyme -.-
Before entering the cow level, I switched the Flail to the Scimitar from Baal.


Invent + merc gear when killing Baal.


Now the last missing challenge in Normal is the Cow Level.
Hoping to find a 2 socket Boneshield there... my own, that I collected in A2 alrdy I think, got
accidently socketed with a ruby while I was rearanging my stash
Maybe gieb Shael, too?

I was very suprised, that all maps are rerolled after completing the difficulty...

After killing the first couple of MooMoos I typed in /players8 again, because they died SO fast.
Average of 2 hits for one cow... very often they got even one- hitted. I figured out that is because they
don't have any resistances at all.
I like the cow level
Amn went straight on Mercs weapon.


No Shael, no Boneshield... and than I (my merc) accidently killed the cow king. Died so fast. Actually I didn't want
to do this. Since they were this easy, I wanted to to the lvl a couple times more... Well


Decided to do a Meph run instead to check the new map... sucks.
Then I felt like doing the council again. Second Amn Rune went on merc, too. 14% leech is nice.
Dunno if I'm going to use the Nagel tho.

That were my last steps in normal difficulty.

toughest spot: I'd say Baal's minions wave 4 and 5. But Seis and Infestor are very close
best drops: Infernostride, Hawkmail and maybe the eth, 2 sock merc weapon.

Overall it wasn't as hard as intended. The beginning was kinda hard, because I had to get a feeling
for the build first. After mid to late A 3, when I finally figured out which defence concept will work for a while,
it got really funny and smooth most of the time. I can only hope that it will stay this way in nightmare.

earned another Skillpoint for bringing some light into this cave.


Bishibosh. No threat at all, but I can't do shit against fireimmunes (besides static :))
But merc was capable of completing the job.

Bloodraven for the second time. Used static at first ofc.


cth is slightly better than in normal *gg
Bloodraven quest was very easy this time.


Going to check out the Mausoleum and Crypt after that.

In Normal I skipped most of the wholes, caves, temples, caverns, sewers, tombs etc. you don't need to visit
to proceed. I think I will do some more in Nightmare. I think I miss some chances of nice drops, if I don't.
Plus more exp is always welcome.
