I just did tomb runs again with my nova, after i died 3 times i respec'd to normal lighting and no more anywhere near death situations and speed was almost the same

I got 90% ES with 2.4k mana and 400 hp, seems like i missing something cuz i die sometimes instantly.

Maybe its the low life/mana pool
I never died in p8 tz tomb runs soloing
Not even close actually
I dont have much life/mana charms in inventory either (700/3400)

One tip is i dont use static unless im far away from the monsters
I like to use nova after tele stomping because it puts them in an fhr animation so i wont get hit

I will try to increase my mana pool, and ES percentile. I can't think of anything else to do. But it's no joke to randomly die on lvl 96

Hey guys just getting back to this. Played ladder for a while but getting pretty bored. So with the below gear:

Life: 1502 / Mana: 1441

Griff (facet)
Vmagi (facet)
Mara
Arach
Magefist
1x fcr ring with light res + mana + mpk
1x Bul katho ring
Silkweaves

Switch:
CTA 6 BO + Lidless

Inventory: Only ONE skiller - rest have to be resistance / life because my ES doesn't fully absorb - NO anni either cause still haven't found SOJ
Skills: : Max nova, light mastery, static, telekinesis, warmth 1pt to the necessities
Merc: : Eth Insight, Eth Fort, Eth Cure

Idk this is pretty safe in p8 Tomb TZ at lvl 98. There's a lot of mana regen from Warmth + Silkweaves. Even when my ES does occasionally break my life is high enough to tank damage. My damage does feel like it could be higher with more skillers but I would have to commit to 100% ES. I feel like I can ride this to 99 pretty confidently with no death . To each their own though GL dudes
