Still looking for that shield, tonight I ran Eldrich / Shenk a lot. I mixed in trav, meph, and chaos a bit, but toward the end just went back to eldrich / shenk / trav. There were some unusual drops, and one good one. It was one of those days I guess

One last edit.. you will notice that my GCs match now. I replaced one pComb with the pally offense GC I found awhile back. I lost 200 damage, but it matched, and the pComb it replaced was twinked, so I feel better getting it out of there.

Council also gave me another 7mf, but no second mod means I can't fit it in. I've got sereral now unused.




I'm getting real close to making exile in any old high res shield. I need to take stock of what I've saved, but I know that my main spirit is in a royal shield, 41 res, 181 def. I have a backup spirit, 33 res royal shield. My rando prebuff spirit is in a 44 res heraldic shield... I really don't want to sacrifice my good spirit. I also really don't want to roll it in non-elite, and especially not a normal shield....


Tomorrow I'm going to try the mini ubers without exile, Lilith last ofc.. I may discover it was nothing to worry about... Time will tell....

W8 for a base! I just found a st in pits. it was white, and low res, but they do drop!
It's worth the patients, imo.

there out there it just takes patience. but finding a godly eth vortex with 35+ all resists might take a while.

Bah, I have found low res ones too. I'm just being picky. I may go MF in the pits though. I haven't been there much on this walk. Chaos is more open & fun for me, but few pally shields have dropped there. A change in scenery may be in order.



Yeah... no.. I've had some good luck, but that would be crazy I was waiting for any elite shield with 30+ res. 35+ and I will use last socket quest for sure.


However today I decided to go for it without renewable LT. After two and a half months of insane hours of playtime, enough to find 2x Sur, 3x Lo, 2x Ohm, 2x Vex, 2 wisp projectors, 1 Maras, gamble a freakin Highlords, 3x SoJ, 2 20 ravens (at least 4 more random ones), 1 30 Nagel (and 8+ random ones), 7+ dwarf stars, 3+ reapers, and countless other nice things..... Enough is enough! Time to just go for it. No Dracs, no exile! I want a torch already!


First portal:

Second portal was to uber Duriel, so I went in. I can't believe I didn't get the screenshot of his portal OR drop! I DO have video of this fight, but it is pretty boring and I'll be posting vids of the other three fights. I'll convert it if anyone asks.


It was a good warm up. He didn't really hurt much, but it was obvious that it was time to respec.

I'll post screens of new skill allocation later. Basically 1 pt zeal & pre-req, max hammer & synergies, 1 pt redemption, 1 pt salvation (actually nn w/ gear & treachery Fade prebuff!), all leftovers into holy shield. No more extra points in holy bolt, so wave 2 will go slower.




After the respec I decided to go Lilith hunting. I explored almost the whole map before finding her. When I found her I TPed and got ready.
