I may try the mini ubers soon, probably with a lifetap wand on switch. I will have to recast LT every 20 secs or so. Lilith can do a huge amount of damage... 520-572 damage * 1.4375 (the player 8 bonus) * 2 (her critical strike) = 1644.5 ... and that is without considering the poison adds. With the gear I used for dClone I had ~3k life, meaning lilith can two me. Switching weapons to wand and back will be dangerous. I may use storm shield for the huge DR for her. Fade would be smart too. I made a treachery in a mage plate for this purpose.

I'm getting close to rolling exile in a crappy shield just to get on with it, safely.

Yes, but it is about the journey, not the destination Feanur's thread about unskilled sorc in UT proves that what I've already got is likely more than enough. But those characters are playing in /p1, softcore and twinked, so I'm a good deal more cautious here

Regarding this last, I dd it as another practice run, this time using the wand on switch. It is getting kind of crazy with all the gear swaps. Hopefully I'll find a shield for exile soon.

There was one completely nuts drop today:




Item level 80 means a normal monster dropped this.
According to ATMA dropcalc, the chance for a normal monster to drop it is 1/1,558,552

I may need to go save the video for this drop too!

as many hrs as you have found i wouldnt be surprised to see a boneflame drop from a normal monster

mf the temples in act 3, theres a chance of an exile base dropping from one of the armor racks there.

By way of comparison a Jah rune has a 1/429,299 chance of dropping from most normal monsters capable of dropping a Jah..

Good idea... The armor racks often drop the same items all the time, unless monsters are around. I'll have to see if there are any worthwhile racks in A3. There is one in LK right now near the WP that drops battle boots Rack running is pretty boring though.

As an aside, with the dungos drop I've now found every belt EXCEPT razortail!!! My throwbarb is getting impatient! Seriously.. WTF..

I went looking for racks in the temples.. Temples are full of wailing beasts, immune to magic. So no-go there. I'll have to find a list of all the racks. But with no teleport (except for amulet, circlet) rack running any other than halls of vaught and LK is not efficient. I will have to re-roll LK until I have a rack that drops pally shields.. But my Meph map is pretty sweet right now.
