I ran her 12 times and nothing above a shael. Not like the hel/ko/do runes I got in that earlier snafu.



First usable skill ammy but mine is still better.



These are not nice boots. Who would care about +17 stamina on demonhide boots?

Maybe a lore?



Found these in the marsh. I'd use them except I'm using the sigons set.



I started using this because I need the res but I don't like it very much. The catacombs and jail were so dark. Maybe I should make that other into a lore.

I found this in the marsh too. 10 feet away I found it's 3os brother. I looked online to see what I could make with it. You guys mentioned malice but I saw this instead. Two new weapons and nearly twice the damage. So long trusty flails. The 'ralralral' flail served me from the beginning of act 2 normal. It holds a place of honor in my stash.

He died in about 2 seconds. I barely had time to take a picture.



Because the runes are basically free I turned this into a slightly higher defense stealth...



...but I also have this in my stash. I could put some Pgems or a nice jewel in it.

This would work well in that armor.



This is as bad as maps get. Level three wasn't much better.



Nice large charm in the catacombs.

In addition to the normal guys she had a boss pack of afflicted and a champion pack of zombies hiding in the back with her. Durga never had a chance.





The mask was Catahans.




I will farm Andy for a while now and hopefully get some nicer gear. Anything in particular I should be on the lookout for?

I just rerolled to get a decent Andy map and set it to p1 so it wouldn't be too dangerous. I don't even know what happened. One second everything was fine and then next I was dead. HC is brutal.



With his new might merc Scooter Jr. was doing pretty decent damage and for the first time in the game Jr. was doing more damage than his merc. Not five minutes before this happened I thought, "I finally see why people play Frenzy Barbs."


I'm not giving up. I'll start another HC char. Let me know if you want to see another walkthrough and if so what kind of char. I'm open to anything except sorc, skellymancer, or wind druid.

You did well. Try again, same char, barbs are fairly safe because of the high health pool.
Remember you can use howl when cornered.
Other than that your gear was not giving you enough res. A bit more patience at the nm countes and a Lum would have given you smoke for example to avoid these lightning guys to blow you up like that.
I would also suggest to always use crushing blow when boss running.
Strength or Black runewords in flails are absolutely sufficient.

Next time nightmare andy might give you.butchers pupil and string of ears, then you are good to go and wont have too much trouble in nm

Lightning resistance: 2

Go back to softcore until you learn the game, you'll have more opportunity to learn from mistakes. You could have run countess and put some Ort runes in an armour, you don't need Stealth on a Frezy Barb.

If you're playing hardcore, never run around without maxed lightning resistance, it's by far the most important factor of the game. Even with maxed lightning resistance, you can lose thousands of hp in an instant.

Agrees. My lvl 94 pally with maxed lgt res and 3.2k hp teleported on a group of souls with conv aura, i wanted teleport further(was going to straight throne) but i was dead. In an instant.

In hc i wouldnt play without tgod for sure especially with soul-areas
