Threw Rattlecage and that crafted helm on my merc. Hoping the CB will help with my Meph kill speed and that little bit of Life Leech will help keep him alive more.

That concludes my updates for now. My plan is to do Meph runs in chunks of 50 and then recap what the best drops were. So in runs 1-50 we got:

  • Waterwalks
  • Titans
  • Butcher's Pupil


Nothing huge but still noteworthy.

Right now the plan is to continue using my Holy Shock build until I find both a big CB item (like Guillaume's Face or Goblin Toe) and find a Pul rune to upgrade my Butcher's Pupil. I'm worried without those my damage will just be too low, especially for boss farming.

At my current MF with Ali Baba at 235, here are the items I'm hoping to get from Meph and their drop chances:


  • Guillaume's Face - 1:678
  • HoZ - 1:3142
  • Shafstop - 1:889
  • Vamp Gaze - 1:1719
  • Raven Frost - 1:764
  • Goblin Toe - 1:287


There are some other items that would be upgrades but these are the big ones.

Tals Mask dropped from a chest on the way to Meph. Once merc gets a couple of levels I'll put it on him for resists and Life Leech.





Got this ring, thought it was neat. Reeeeaaallly wished it has teleport instead of telekinesis so I could use something other than my staff on switch.





Trang's shield dropped. Looked it up, its about a 1:1700 chance so I thought it was worth mentioning.

This happened on Run #69. Nice.





Fairly average roll. No complaints here. If I can find Goblin Toe then this will probably be my end-game helm untill I decide to farm Guillaume's Face for boss farming.





4os armor if I decide to make some MF armor. Right now my Lightning Resist without Smoke is ~40 and for me that's too low against Meph in HC. Maybe if I find a decent LR grand charm I can do runs with more MF.

Wish I was playing a Barb. I do dream of one day making a nice Frenzy Barb. If it this WT goes well that might be my next one.





Trying out 2x Angelic rings and dropping my nagel. It's about 10% increased chance to hit vs. 21 MF. So far the increased DPS isn't too noticeable.





And that is it for Meph runs 51-100. Here's what we got:

  • Tals Helm (from a chest)
  • Vamp Gaze
  • WC + 11 Life skiller
  • Trang's Shield



Probably going to take a break from Meph and go for Chaos Sanctuary.

Guess the game is telling me I have to use some MF armor.







Diablo was insanely easy. I got close enough to him to not be affected by his lightning blast thing.

Question do I just say set players to 8 in game and it does it? Started a sorc at level 18 hasn’t been hard at all
