I'm not using any editor, shit i dont even know what they are.
i just find it strange that you are complaining about the required level when i crafted items with an even lower and higher item levels. you say the items are "too high" yet you don't provide any proof. you literally just spammed my thread for no reason just because you have a "hunch"

He is accusing me yet doesn't provide anything. I provided the formula. Literally just spammed my run into oblivion without any proof or sources to show his side. I guess whatever his "gut" says goes, no need to fact check with formula!
The relevant formula for the Required Level is not listed on the Arreat Summit.. the website only states that ''The Level Requirement of crafted items will be higher than that of a rare item even if they have the same random prefixes/suffixes.''
Highest levelreq affix (prefix or suffix) on each of the two crafted items in question:
Loath Chain Mesh Belt:
+(16-20) to Strength (suffix: ''of the Titan'') on belt item type has levelreq=
50Beast Necklace Amulet:
+1 to Amazon Skill Levels (prefix: ''Maiden's'') on amulet item type has levelreq=
27The levelreq penalty due to the (1-4) random affixes on a
crafted item is 10 + 3
n where
n is the number of random affixes (1-4).
In both cases
n = 4, as you can check by looking at the
list of magic properties on each item.
Required Level:
50 + (10 + 12) =
50 + 22 =
72 > 56 (displayed)
Required Level:
27 + (10 + 12) =
27 + 22 =
49 < 54 (displayed)
Performing a similar calculation for each of the other crafted items in this thread yields the Required Level displayed on the item.
How did the game get it wrong in those two particular cases?
