are you trying to get magefists as a challenge?

if not i dont see the +fire skill to be worth grinding for when you could get a + from so many other places

either way, GL man youll drop them eventually.. also vipermagi can drop in cold plains in nightmare, so you could add in acouple bosses like bishop or rak. to break the boredom for the chances to find either one

I have found about 3-4 of these charms, i get about 100 mana off of them

Decided after run 50 to kill act 2, and then after run 55 i killed act 3 an up to river of flame WP

+1 skill Spirit Shroud

Making space for new stuff besides shaels and sols

Goldwrap before i even made it to izzy

IO rune, i'm thinking this is the lowest u can get @ NM FORGE?




Currently level 64, Act 2,3,4 (so far) has been easy.
Duri was about 10 minute kill
mephy was about 15 minute kill
izzy was about 2 minute kill

Seems as though you are cruising right along since the big rough patch at normal diablo

Yea, all the bosses seem to do great with the golems besides diablo. Even NM diablo would not focus on the golem.

Not sure merc is better with Tals helmet for LL or the 3 socket helmet i got with + max damage in it that gives 150 more damage)
Why does merc need LL if i have a LifeTap curse?

Fire golem was useless in Choas Sanctuary. Gonna try him in act 5, if not i will respec to clay as tank instead.

I saw this recomended by someone earlier.. forget who.. but if you cast the golem alittle away from diablo, so the clay golem has to run to him to attack, it would switch his direction towards the golem?
I think this would work....

that was in this thread back on first page or 2. Tried it and didnt work. tried coming back in the TP, tried casting him directly on Diablo, Tried running from de sies seal. None of them worked, always focused on merc and merc could take tank the stanky breath this time but the firestorm nearly raped him every time.

Nice little extra fast LORD. he could run as fast as i could if i didnt decrep him.


Frozen river was scary, lucky no souls tho. Frozenstein almost instakilled me when i tried to run past him to free anya, merc couldnt take frozen fight with them, seperated them in half and killed them then.
Fire golem seems to be doing some damage to monsters and dont die so i have stuck with him for now.
Level 69 @ frozen tundra wp right @ ancients way door. Still no mages, lmao.

Wave 5 loved clay golem

Baal has been killed (360 mf total at kill)



And finally Emilio & Clay golem has Defeat the Mighty Baal.
He spawned clone at about 3/4 life, kept running around him so didnt really slow me down any. But this was still a 25 minute battle.
Would love to find better gear from Nightmare before i move on, Any suggestions would be lovely !!!
I beleive the Fire golem is ready to retire and clay golem will take over, so i might go back to normal and respec to tanky clay golem when im ready to enter hell.

Items of interest :
Bone armor (sol,um,um) or Vipermagi (spirit shroud is awesome ATM)
splendor necro head with some nice + skills (the +1 would be sufficient to replace the 1 i have with +1 skill +2 fire golem)
Obedience Polearm (seems to have alot of damage if i can go without insight) (clay golem is cheap compared to fire golem, lol)

Alot of my gear has been Magic Find setup from the get go. Maybe now that im going into hell soon its time to swap to some res/def gear.
