List of areas by boss/champion pack kill speed
I didn't have patience to run every area more than 3 times for this test. I did WSK and Halls of PAIN only once.

from the worst to best:

1 Ancient Tunnels - 80 pph with bad map
2 Pit - 65 pph - 6-8 packs on level 1 is nonsense - I think it is 4-8. Also I found 4 packs on level 2
3 Drifter Cavern - surprise - 60 pph with bad map
4 Worldstone Keep - 55 pph without physical immunes, counting 5 waves as 2 packs and Baal as 3 due to Tyrael drop rate
5 City of the Damned - 50 pph - one time there were 9 packs I think

Kurast Temples - 47 pph
Mausoleum - 39 packs per hour (pph) official data say min number of packs is 4, max is 5 - seems about right
Maggot Lair - 38 pph
Act 3 Sewers - 23 pph
Chaos Sanctuary - 20 pph 3-5 packs lol/10
Halls of Pain + Halls of Vaught - 18 pph
River of Flame - 14 pph - what a fail - during 5 runs I encountered 3-5 packs per run

I think I'll skip all "slow" areas and areas with annoying physical immunes

You should quest bug the bosses if you can, you will get much better drops.
