I felt bad for about 30 seconds until I realized it was going to take a hour to farm the flawless amths in LK, and then there was no guarantee to get the right number of socs.



This is the wrong attitude to take with a HC WT. You have two available soc quest before hell. If you don't use one when you have a chance, then your chances of not getting to use either go up significantly.

This character can't use a soc quest to make a weapon base for myself to use. GMB (best base for this char) are 5os with soc quest, and all bow rune words are 4 rune. So the best I could do for a soc quest for myself is armor (no need since Treche is 3 rune and getting to LK to farm runes with this character is going to be ... difficult).

I mean I would totally get your point if I was playing a java. But I need my might merc to be constantly pumping the 40 CB from Obedience. It's the only thing that is going to make the A1 hell grind worth it.



I was happy to find two 15@ GCs since that will make up for the res I lose for not having a shield.
